As you know the Jag V12 is a "wet Liner" design, so you need to clamp the liners in place if you intend to turn the engine whilst the heads are off. Jaguar has a special tool for this illustrated in the manual. I decided to make my own, and got it made locally here in Malaysia:
mmmmm nice stainless steel (I asked for cheap offcuts & that's what I got). Must nip the edge of the liner whilst allowing the piston to come out and your piston ring compressor to fit so you can put the pistons back.
With that done i can take a look at the mains & big ends....
