S3 E-Type

Here's the first turn of the engine (truly):


It starts so easily because it was heaviliy flooded with fuel from leaking carburettor float bowls...that took some time to fix before I could crank it over.

All that fuel and the oil in the bores gives the lovely plume of smoke at the back of the shot....
